Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Lancaster, PA is seeking a part-time Bakery Clerk to proof and bake unfinished bakery goods, unpack shipments, and stock display cases. You will follow production charts, maintain cleanliness, and help fellow team members provide friendly service to members.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, price accuracy, and membership experience; you’ll handle daily tasks such as labeling, pricing, rotating stock, and assisting customers with questions or special orders.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred.
• Knowledge of bakery products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Answers questions and recommends bakery items.
• Proofs and bakes unfinished bakery goods following product handling information.
• Packages baked goods and rotates/stores products per safety guidelines.
• Generates labels and price tickets; ensures items are priced correctly.
• Cleans and sanitizes bakery equipment and surfaces.
• Operates bakery equipment following safety procedures.
• Performs other duties and maintains club policies.
