Job summary

Kj’s Market in Union, SC is seeking friendly part-time team members to greet guests, bag groceries, and help keep the store tidy. You’ll provide courteous service, assist customers to their cars, and participate in price checks and cart retrievals. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to retrieve and push in shopping carts.
• Ability to bend and lift to load guests orders into cars.
• Effective communication and guests service skills.

Responsibilities

• Actively communicates with every guest including greeting, thanking, offering a choice of bag type, and performing any other courtesy guideline.
• Properly bags guests orders to ensure purchases are not damaged.
• Works well with all hosts and supervisors.
• Places guests purchases in grocery cart or hands bags to the guests and sincerely offers assistance to the guests vehicle.
• Performs price checks.
• Relay guests problems to supervisor.
• Retrieves carts from parking lot.
• Cleans front end, break room, rest rooms, lobby, parking lot, etc.
• Cleans garbage and debris from carts and baskets.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by management.
