Job description

This is a part-time position with primary responsibilities including providing excellent customer service by satisfying customer needs, exceeding expectations, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. Key duties involve proper bagging procedures, carryout and parcel pickup services, loading merchandise into customer vehicles, and returning shopping carts to the store.

To perform this role successfully, individuals must be able to fulfill each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below reflect the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities. PERSONAL SKILLS: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Willingness to participate in required training and collaborate with the team to enhance customer satisfaction and sales.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to write simple correspondence in English. Ability to effectively communicate information in one-on-one and small group settings to customers, clients, and associates who speak only English.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to perform addition and subtraction of two-digit numbers.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed instructions and solve problems involving a few variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Completion of company training programs, including new hire orientation, customer service, safety, bagging techniques, and product knowledge.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, hear, and smell. Occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must be able to lift/move up to 40 pounds and reach from 6 to 72 inches. Specific vision abilities include close vision and depth perception.
