Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Badge Specialist in San Bernardino, CA for a part-time position. The role focuses on access control, badge issuance, and visitor management at a logistics location, with a strong emphasis on customer service and security procedures.

You will verify credentials, manage entry points, and maintain accurate access records while providing high-quality service and adhering to site policies.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor access, and maintain accurate access records.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter, to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity.
• Observe inbound and outbound traffic, support delivery driver check-in procedures, and communicate access-related concerns in accordance with site requirements.
