Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.

• Respond to incidents calmly and notify site contacts and leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of entrances, parking, docks, and perimeter to deter unauthorized access.
• Observe traffic and assist in driver check-in procedures and access communications.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points at a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials, manage visitor and contractor access, and maintain accurate access records.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including entrances, parking areas, loading docks, and the facility perimeter, to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity.
• Observe inbound and outbound traffic, support delivery driver check-in procedures, and communicate access-related concerns in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
