Job summary

HireArt, Inc. is recruiting a Part-Time Autonomous Vehicle Driver for our client in Grand Rapids, MN. This is an on-site role operating a self-driving ride service within Grand Rapids and neighboring communities.

The position requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and 3+ years of driving with a clean record. You will perform daily safety inspections, assist passengers, and maintain vehicle cleanliness while following all safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Comfortable operating vehicles with advanced technology.
• Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs.
• Able to assist individuals in wheelchairs, including pushing them up ramps and into vehicles.

• Highly organized and adept at documenting daily summaries.
• Background in electronics, mechanical systems, or computing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate self-driving ride service in Grand Rapids and nearby communities.

Schedule

Up to 30 hours per week: Shifts available between 10AM - 9PM, 7 days a week

Contract

Help operate Grand Rapids’ self-driving ride service, providing free on-demand pick-ups and drop-offs along the company's route.
HireArt is collaborating with our client, a transportation innovation firm, to find dedicated Transit Operations Specialists for the company's initiative providing on-demand public transit that fills rural public transportation gaps.
We're looking for a highly capable and experienced driver who is meticulously organized, detail-oriented, and genuinely customer-focused, with an enthusiasm for emerging technologies.
$500 Sign-on bonus!
This position is 100% onsite in Grand Rapids, MN.
As a Part-Time Autonomous Vehicle Driver, you'll:

• Utilize advanced vehicle and accessibility technologies to provide complimentary transportation services within Grand Rapids and its neighboring communities, specifically targeting residents of Cohasset, Deer River, and Ball Club.
• Engage regularly with passengers and the operational team.
• Offer insights to enhance vehicle comfort, aesthetics, and the overall passenger journey.
• Conduct daily safety inspections of vehicles.
• Maintain the cleanliness of vehicle interiors and exteriors as needed.
• Adhere strictly to all traffic regulations and safety protocols.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• 3+ years of driving experience with an impeccable driving record
• Comfortable operating vehicles equipped with advanced technology
• Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs routinely
• Able to assist individuals in wheelchairs, including pushing them up ramps and into vehicles
