HireArt, in partnership with The PLUM Catalyst, seeks Transit Operations Specialists for the goMARTI initiative in Grand Rapids, MN. This onsite role ensures safe, clean, and pleasant on-demand transportation along the goMARTI route and neighboring communities.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, a valid license, 3+ years of driving with an excellent record, and comfort with vehicles equipped with advanced technology. A $500 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles with advanced technologies to provide complimentary transportation within Grand Rapids and nearby communities.
• Interact regularly with passengers and the operations team.
• Suggest improvements to vehicle comfort, aesthetics, and passenger experience.
• Conduct daily safety inspections of vehicles.
• Maintain clean interiors and exteriors of vehicles.
• Adhere to traffic laws and safety protocols.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Expected compensation: 23.00 USD Per Hour

Help operate Grand Rapids' self-driving ride service, providing free on-demand pick-ups and drop-offs along the goMARTI route.

HireArt is collaborating with The PLUM Catalyst, a transportation innovation firm, to find dedicated Transit Operations Specialists for the goMARTI initiative providing on-demand public transit that fills rural public transportation gaps. This role is crucial for ensuring every passenger enjoys a secure, impeccably clean, and consistently pleasant travel experience.

We're looking for a highly capable and experienced driver who is meticulously organized, detail-oriented, and genuinely customer-focused, with an enthusiasm for emerging technologies.

$500 Sign-on bonus!

This position is 100% onsite in Grand Rapids, MN.

As a Vehicle Operator, You'll

• Utilize advanced vehicle and accessibility technologies to provide complimentary transportation services within Grand Rapids and its neighboring communities, specifically targeting residents of Cohasset, Deer River, and Ball Club.
• Engage regularly with passengers and the operational team.
• Offer insights to enhance vehicle comfort, aesthetics, and the overall passenger journey.
• Conduct daily safety inspections of vehicles.
• Maintain the cleanliness of vehicle interiors and exteriors as needed.
• Adhere strictly to all traffic regulations and safety protocols.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• 3+ years of driving experience with an impeccable driving record
• Comfortable operating vehicles equipped with advanced technology
• Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs routinely
• Able to assist individuals in wheelchairs, including pushing them up ramps and into vehicles
• Possesses a systematic and process-driven approach
• Highly organized and adept at documenting daily summaries
• Maintains composure and effectiveness in demanding situations
• A background in electronics, mechanical systems, or computing is a plus

Commitment:

This is a part-time, ongoing contract position, managed by HireArt, and located in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. Please note: Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check, Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review, and drug screening (including THC).
