Job summary

Dormont Manufacturing Co is seeking an Adjunct in Automotive Technology in the Town of Bethlehem, NY. In this role, you will teach, lecture, and instruct laboratory coursework on various automotive topics including diagnosis and repair of gasoline engines and other components.

Ideal candidates will possess an Associate’s degree and ASE Master Certified Technician credentials, with substantial hands-on experience in the automobile industry. Teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum five to ten years of relevant professional work experience in automobile repair.
• Experience teaching automotive courses preferred.
• Ability to convey essential concepts to students.

Responsibilities

• Teach lectures and instruct laboratory coursework in Automotive Technology.
• Prepare for classes including morning, afternoon, and evening schedules.
• Guide students in certificate programs and associate’s degree candidates.
