Job summary

Chattahoochee Technical College is seeking a part-time Automotive Technology Adjunct Instructor to support the Automotive Technical Certificate of Credit and degree programs across Appalachian, Marietta and BCCCA campuses. The instructor will lecture, run labs, provide student advisement, evaluate progress, maintain documentation, ensure lab safety, and assist with standard lab setup and teardown.

Minimum qualifications include an Associate Degree in Automotive Technology, at least two years of

• Requires Associate Degree in Automotive Technology.
• Minimum of two years industry experience in automotive technology or related field.
• ASE certification in area being taught.
• Transcript records must be available in EZHr.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree.
• Preferred: Master ASE certification in several areas.

Responsibilities

• Lecture sessions in automotive technology.
• Lab instruction and supervision of instructional activities.
• Student advisement and progress evaluation.
• Maintaining all required documentation for courses.
• Performs lab setup and teardown and ensures lab safety.
• Other duties as assigned by department.
