Job Description:

The Mechanic1stClassis responsible forthe upkeep and repair of a wide array of equipment, such asdeliveryvehicles, heavy-duty machinery, on-road tractors, and trailers sourced from different manufacturers. They specialize in diagnosing and fixing issues with hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electronic systems, and engines.Additionalduties may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Repairs gas and propane vehicles.
• Operates standard and manual transmission
• Operates power and pneumatic tools
• Ensuresall vehicles aremaintainedregularly andin a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Bends, stoops, squats, kneels, crouches, crawls, climbs ladders and stairs, stands, walks, and turns/pivotsfrequentlythroughout duration of workday.
• Minimum of 2 yearsdemonstratedexperience in preventive maintenance and electrical diagnostics
• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The starting pay for this position is $21.00 per hour with a two-years progression to top pay $23.00. For union-represented postings, wage rates and ranges and benefit offerings are governed by applicable collective bargaining agreement provisions.
