Job summary

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking a Part-Time Cashier/Receptionist for Napleton Hyundai of Hazelwood. The role involves handling customer transactions, payments, and receipts to help ensure a smooth customer experience.

Responsibilities include processing cash, checks, and cards; reconciling totals; and addressing customer questions. Flexible scheduling includes weekends and holidays, with paid training and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent is required.
• Cashier experience, automotive dealership experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Professional appearance is required.
• Willingness to undergo a background check per local law/regulations.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with company driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Calculate the customer's bill using the dealership's computer system.
• Receive cash, checks and credit card payments from customers.
• Make change accurately and issue receipts to customers.
• Ascertain and record totals of counter tickets and repair orders, sales deposits and verify against all payments.
• Handle customer complaints diplomatically and refer to the appropriate person for resolution.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays.
