Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is hiring a part-time Customer Service Associate at Automotive Branch #9122 in West Springfield, MA. The role involves delivering products from the branch, receiving and preparing orders, loading and unloading, and assisting customers in person and over the phone.

You will operate warehouse equipment, manage inventory, process sales transactions at the POS, and follow safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to work all scheduled hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepare orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
• Load and unload products from deliveries.
• Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
• Assist customers in person and over the phone.
• Process sales transactions at the POS accurately.
• Communicate with supervisors and coworkers.
• Keep a clean, safe workspace and optimize space.
• Follow quality service standards and store procedures.
• Ensure stockroom is organized.
• Operate color retrieval and paint mixing equipment as needed.
• Assist with inventory control and cycles.
• Complete Monthly and Quarterly Safety Training.
