Job summary

Auction.com seeks an Associate Auction Coordinator (Part Time) to be the face of the company at live auctions, co-hosting and assisting bidders while ensuring all pre-auction requirements are met. The Territory includes Williamsburg/Newport News VA, with travel to surrounding county courthouses as needed. A rental car is provided for longer trips.

Hours vary: 6–10 hours weekly; daily auctions run Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm. Training sessions and team calls are required.

Qualifications

• Proven customer service experience or aptitude and enjoy helping people.
• Tech-savvy with ability to troubleshoot common issues.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic software tools.
• Excellent listening and verbal/written communication skills.
• Able to adapt quickly in dynamic environments and juggle tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, collect customer information, and ensure pre-auction requirements are met.
• Learn and share knowledge about Auction.com programs for attendees.
• Handle sensitive information with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Provide professional communication and networking with attendees and staff.
• Collect customer data using our software and prepare event receipts and reports.
• Support training sessions and team calls; contribute to high-quality task execution.
