Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking an Attending Physician to oversee primary medical care for residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs). You will serve as the primary care provider, supported by a dedicated NP or PA, and will collaborate to deliver high-quality patient care.

This part-time role emphasizes leadership to mentor NPs and PAs, with a focus on comprehensive care, documentation, and adherence to regulations across LTC facilities in the network.

Qualifications

• Board-certified physician with experience in primary care and long-term care (LTC).
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor NPs and PAs in delivering care.
• Prolonged standing and walking on facility floors; carrying equipment; navigating multi-level buildings; lifting/moving patients.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary care provider for residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs).
• Conduct patient rounds, collaborating with NPs and PAs to assess and manage resident care.
• Diagnose and treat patients with acute illnesses while overseeing ongoing conditions.
• Discuss treatment plans, prognosis, and advance care planning with residents and families.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure adherence to healthcare regulations.
• Work closely with nurses, therapists, and specialists to provide comprehensive care.
