Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking an Attending Physician to oversee and manage primary medical care for residents at our facilities. The role includes leading a dedicated NP/PA, collaborating with the care team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

The position emphasizes primary care and long-term care experience, with a part-time schedule of 1 day per week. Collaboration is central to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in SNFs.

Qualifications

• Board-certified physician with experience in primary care and long-term care (LTC).
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively support and mentor NPs and PAs in delivering care.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand / walk / work on your feet up to 6-8 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary care provider for residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs), taking responsibility for their medical management.
• Conduct patient rounds, collaborating with NPs and PAs to assess and manage resident care.
• Diagnose and treat patients with acute illnesses while overseeing the management of ongoing medical conditions.
• Discuss treatment plans, prognosis, and advance care planning with residents and their families.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure adherence to healthcare regulations.
• Work closely with nurses, therapists, and specialists to provide comprehensive care.
