Job summary

The Pennsylvania State University–Berks is seeking a student employee to support the daily operations of athletic and recreational facilities. You will help manage events, enforce facility rules, and ensure safe and proper use of equipment according to established guidelines.

During Penn State Berks athletic events, you will monitor game clocks and timing systems, work with officials and staff to resolve timing discrepancies, and help maintain smooth, accurate event flow.

• Adhere to safe and appropriate use of all equipment and modalities within established guidelines.
• Monitor and operate game clocks and timing systems during Penn State Berks athletic events to ensure accurate timekeeping in accordance with sport-specific rules and regulations.
• Collaborate with officials and event staff to maintain synchronization and resolve any timing discrepancies promptly.

BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES

This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.
