The role interacts with the public including families and children and may involve coordinating room rentals and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the coordination, setup, staffing, and breakdown of athletic events and recreational programs.
• Monitor participant safety and ensure compliance with facility and program rules.
• Open and close athletic fields and facilities as scheduled.
• Prepare, set up, and take down equipment and materials for practices, games, and special events.
• Perform general office duties, including managing room rentals and supporting community center operations.
• Reference athletic rules and guidelines to help resolve routine issues or questions.
• Interact professionally and courteously with the public, program participants, and families.
• Operate scoreboards and other sports-related equipment.
