Job summary

Rocky Mountain Synod (ELCA) is seeking an Associate Music Director to contribute to the growth of Joy’s Music Program. This role will assist the Director of Worship and Music with tasks related to worship, music, and administration.

The ideal candidate will lead a new Bell Choir and work 10 hours per week, which includes some weekend hours. A Bachelor's degree in Music or equivalent experience is preferred. Compensation ranges from $25.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on qualifications.

• Bachelor's degree in Music or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience leading a Bell Choir in a church setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Worship and Music with specific tasks.
• Develop and lead a new Bell Choir.
