Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a part-time Dentist to deliver comprehensive dental care within a busy practice. You will manage exams, treatment planning, and delivery of care across in-office specialties, with an emphasis on high-quality patient experiences.

The role involves collaborative work with a network of doctors, ongoing education, and opportunities to advance clinical skills in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret X-rays and tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth and oral tissues.
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments and best practices.
