Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a part-time Dentist to join our established practice. You will manage the full patient journey from examination and treatment planning to delivery of care, including in-office specialty services such as periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The role offers a strong patient flow, ongoing CE opportunities, mentorship, and collaboration within a network of doctors.

Qualifications

• Active state license to practice dentistry in the United States.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
