Job summary

42 North Dental seeks a part-time Dentist to deliver comprehensive dental care from initial exam through treatment delivery. The role includes in-office specialties such as periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics with a strong patient flow.

You will promote oral health, diagnose conditions, educate patients, and create and review treatment plans while maintaining accurate records. Competitive hourly pay reflects market rates.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program
• Current state license to practice dentistry
• Evidence of Hepatitis B vaccination
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Current BLS or CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain highest quality standard of care and ethics
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education
