The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is the key to our success!

Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to provide excellent customer service, keep shelves stocked with fresh food, and create a great shopping experience for our customers.

What You'll Do

• Maintain assigned store sections, order, receive, and stock merchandise using proper equipment. Ensure proper pricing, check product date codes for freshness, stock shelves, displays, floor stacks, and refrigerated/frozen cases. Prepare perishable products for sale if needed.
• Set up advertising and promotional displays. Review invoices and bills for accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all store areas and parking lot as directed by management.
• Operate a cash register, process payments, make change, and handle check/charge/debit transactions. Process refunds when approved.
• Verify customer eligibility when selling alcoholic beverages.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous assistance to customers with current store and product information.
• Assist customers with loading purchases into vehicles when requested.
• Perform basic bookkeeping, record lost/damaged goods, and manage store supplies using appropriate tools.

What You'll Bring

• Ability to read and write English, interact effectively with the public and co-workers.
• Ability to understand simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
• Effective communication skills for one-on-one and small group interactions.
• Apply common sense to follow detailed, but straightforward instructions.
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
