The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is the key to our success!

Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to provide excellent customer service, keep shelves stocked with fresh food, and create a great shopping experience for our customers.

What You'll Do

• Maintain assigned store sections, order, receive, and stock merchandise using proper equipment, ensure proper pricing, check product date codes for rotation, stock shelves, displays, and refrigerated/frozen cases. May prepare perishable products for sale.
• Set up advertising and promotional displays. Review invoices and bills for accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all store areas and parking lot as directed.
• Operate a cash register, process payments, make change, and handle refunds with management approval.
• Verify customer eligibility when selling alcoholic beverages.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous assistance to customers with current store and product information.
• Assist customers with loading purchases into vehicles when requested.
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties, record lost/damaged goods, and store supplies.

What You'll Bring

• Ability to read and write English, interact effectively with the public and co-workers.
• Understand and follow simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
• Present information clearly in one-on-one or small group settings.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed instructions.
• Regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.
