Child Development Schools in Oklahoma City seeks an Assistant Teacher to support the Lead Teacher in a nurturing classroom environment. You will help deliver age-appropriate activities, encourage curiosity and growth, and build strong relationships with families.
You will assist with daily notes, attendance, and documentation while maintaining a safe, organized space. Requirements include being 18+ and having a high school diploma or GED; training is provided on the job.
As an Assistant Teacher at Child Development Schools, you will help create a classroom filled with discovery, creativity, learning, and joy. Working alongside your Lead Teacher, you will support young learners through meaningful experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence, kindness, and growth. From hands‑on activities and storytelling to everyday learning moments, you will help shape a warm and welcoming environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to explore the world around them.
Pay: $11.00-$14.00 per hour, based on experience and education.

A degree or coursework in Early Childhood Education and prior experience in a licensed childcare center are a plus, but not required. We hire for character and train for skill.
