Job summary

Storage Asset Management is seeking a dynamic on-site team member in Berwyn, IL to drive self-storage sales and deliver exceptional customer service. You will tour facilities, close leads, manage rentals, and support daily operations while upholding top-tier property presentation.

The ideal candidate has leasing or retail experience, strong communication skills, and the stamina to stand for extended periods. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.

• Ensure the facility is impeccably clean and well-maintained
• Execute daily facility inspections for premium presentation
• Strategically implement marketing plans following guidelines
• Establish a visible presence in local associations and community functions
• Participate in tailored sales training and industry events
• Mentor and empower assistant managers with your sales acumen
• Proactively manage rent collections and fees
• Maintain precise accounting records with transparency
• Walk, stand, and communicate with customers on-site
• Drive to local areas as needed
• Assist in general property upkeep and maintenance

Requirements:

• A High School diploma /GED equivalent. College education a plus
• Must be able to stand for several hours at a time and lift 25 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license with access to reliable transportation
• Completion of pre-employment background screening
• Previous experience in storage management a plus!
