Job summary

Storage Asset Management seeks a results-driven manager to drive storage rentals and deliver exceptional customer service. You will lead tours, keep facilities pristine, and implement marketing plans while maintaining clear records and accounting accuracy.

The role requires strong communication, weekend availability, and the ability to train and empower junior staff. This is a full-time on-site position with growth opportunities within SAM.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer service skills are required.
• Open availability including weekends.
• Ability to perform light maintenance and property upkeep.
• Management experience in leasing, retail, or operations.
• Sales/marketing experience with proven lead generation and closing ability.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Energetic, open to new ideas and direction changes.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Pre-employment background check completed.
• Storage management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be the sales champion, converting inquiries into immediate storage rentals.
• Elevate the customer experience with engaging facility tours.
• Ensure the facility is clean and well-maintained at all times.
• Execute daily facility inspections for premium presentation.
• Strategically implement marketing plans following guidelines.
• Establish a visible presence in local professional associations and community functions.
• Participate in tailored sales training and industry events.
• Mentor and empower assistant managers with your sales acumen.
• Proactively manage rent collections and fees.
• Maintain precise accounting records with transparency.

Requirements:

• A High School diploma /GED equivalent. College education a plus
• Must be able to stand for several hours at a time and lift 25 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license with access to reliable transportation
• Completion of pre-employment background screening
• Previous experience in storage management a plus!
