Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our Plaquemine, LA location to support store operations and customer service while developing the team. You will help organize merchandise flow from delivery to the sales floor and ensure seasonal areas are well maintained.

Responsibilities include assisting with openings/closings, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling, while enforcing company policies and safety guidelines.

Competenze

• Retail store management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
• Customer service focus and problem-solving ability.

Mansioni

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns they may have.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor as needed.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping (including payroll, scheduling, and cash register deposits and receipts), and loss prevention.
• Maintain store areas to company standards (sales floor and stockroom).
• Protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
• Adhere to policies and procedures including safety guidelines.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, bins, and trash.
