Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run daily store operations, deliver strong customer service, and develop a high-performing team. You will support opening and closing procedures and ensure shelves are stocked and displays maintained.

This role requires the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, work in a fast-paced retail environment, and communicate clearly with customers and coworkers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform routine physical duties.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Maintain store cleanliness, organize stockroom and sales floor, and manage displays.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, and basic record keeping.
• Help supervise, train, and develop Store Associates alongside the Store Manager.
