Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives, audits and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain store fixtures, displays and promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store areas and secure assets.
• Protect company assets and follow safety policies and procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train and develop Store Associates.
• Foster a safe, respectful, and professional environment for customers and staff.
