Job summary

The role requires strong communication, the ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and experience in retail management. You will supervise, train staff, and implement policies while maintaining safety and high service standards.

Qualifications

• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address any questions or concerns they may have.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process all corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and processing damaged merchandise; record keeping including payroll, scheduling, cash deposits/receipts, and loss prevention.
• Maintain neat, well-stocked store and stockroom per company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to policies, safety guidelines, and procedures; supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Keep store clean and presentable; responsibilities include bathrooms, floors, trash removal.
