Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development in Lebanon, Oregon. You will assist with daily activities, organize merchandise, and support opening/closing procedures while ensuring a clean, safe store environment.

The role emphasizes strong communication and the ability to lead a team, deliver excellent customer service, and manage tasks such as payroll, scheduling, and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred and basic reading of directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and develop associates.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and maintain compliance, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain store areas and protect company assets, including cash.
• Assist in training and developing Store Associates and ensure a safe environment.
