Job summary

Socket.dev in Hubert, NC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, support customer service, and help develop the team. This is a part-time role with responsibilities spanning merchandise handling, opening/closing procedures, and ensuring adherence to company policies.

You will work closely with the Store Manager to train associates, maintain attractive displays, and uphold a safe, welcoming environment for customers and staff alike.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience in retail store management is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and be physically able to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily store operations and activities.
• Provide friendly customer service and resolve questions.
• Organize, stock, and transfer merchandise between delivery and sales floor.
• Open and close the store as needed.
• Support payroll, scheduling, and cash handling duties.
• Maintain store cleanliness and displays to company standards.
• Train and develop store associates under the Store Manager.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment for customers and staff.
