Job summary

Harmonium is seeking an Assistant Site Director - ASES to support after-school programs across San Diego County, including Mira Mesa, Clairemont Mesa, Tierrasanta, and more. Part-time role with a starting wage of $24.06/hr, matched to specific school sites near your location.

You will help supervise students, ensure safety, manage attendance, develop activities, and assist the Site Director in absence. Requires 1 year of childcare experience and CPR/First Aid certification; training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must have 48 completed college units OR pass the District's Classroom Assistant Proficiency Exam.
• Must have 6 units in child development or related field OR 6 months ASES experience.
• Minimum 1 year experience in after-school or group childcare with elementary aged children.

Responsibilities

• Open/close the site as required.
• Maintain a clean, orderly designated school space.
• Ensure safety, security, and well-being of students.
• Assist with attendance collection, snack procedures, and enrollment info.
• Develop clubs, activities, and curriculum; support program operations.
• Collaborate across program service areas for effective communication.
• Assist with responsibilities in the Site Director's absence for up to 5 days.
