We’re looking for music and pop culture enthusiasts to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you'll support the store leadership team in providing excellent customer service, training new team members, and assisting with daily operations and sales targets.

What You'll Do

• Provide an engaging shopping experience to encourage customer loyalty, utilizing your product knowledge and customer service skills.
• Support store operations by stepping in on the sales floor and assisting the management team as needed.
• Open and close the store responsibly, ensuring security and readiness.
• Operate the register, process sales, and promote additional benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup.
• Understand and contribute to store sales goals and KPIs such as UPT and ADT.
• Assist with planogram updates and visual merchandising.
• Communicate fashion and music trends to management and HQ partners.
• Maintain store security and prevent theft in collaboration with management.
• Help keep the stockroom organized and the store tidy.
• Contribute to building a passionate, collaborative team environment.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by your Store Leader.

What You'll Need

• At least 1 year of retail experience, preferably with a passion for music and pop culture.
• Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and operational skills.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• The ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds.
