Responsibilities include handling customer inquiries, processing transactions, merchandising, opening/closing, and assisting with inventory control. A strong sports or retail background is a plus, and E-Verify applies to new hires.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must possess basic organizational and/or applicable math skills.
• Detail-oriented and reliable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of sporting goods is a plus.
• Must possess High School diploma, GED, or High School Equivalency Exam.
• Flexible Scheduling
• Upon accepting a position, candidate will be subject to E-Verify.
• Light to moderate lifting may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate store in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers.
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries.
• Recommend products and suggest add-on sales.
• Merchandise and ensure policy compliance.
• Set promotional signage.
• Retrieve stock from the stockroom as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked sales floor.
• Open and close the store.
• Train newly hired associates.
• Direct sales and cashier teams across the store.
• Help with inventory control and loss prevention.
