Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) is seeking an Assessment Assistant to provide testing support for students in the Adult Basic Education program. You will proctor paper-based, computer-based, and remote assessments and maintain a secure, professional testing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, up to 19 hours per week, Monday–Saturday.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to confidentiality and FERPA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Proctor assessments at various locations for groups of students.
• Provide and maintain a safe and orderly testing environment.
• Assist with computer-based testing and troubleshoot issues.
• Verify student testing appointments.
• Prepare testing rooms and maintain testing records.
• Report assessment discrepancies and respond to program communications.
• Read and respond to emails daily and adhere to policies.
• Participate in required training and meetings.
