Job summary

GE Appliances is seeking a Work-Based Learning Assembly Operator (Part-Time) in LaFayette, GA. The role supports production of range/oven appliances while balancing school commitments.

You will work up to 20 hours per week on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts, with pay at $15.30/hour plus a $1.50 shift differential for 2nd/3rd shifts. Candidates must be 17+, enrolled in a high school WBL program, authorized to work in the U.S., and able to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Currently enrolled in a high school Work-Based Learning program.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to successfully complete a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assemble cooking appliances and/or components according to production requirements.
• Move parts and materials throughout the work area.
• Use air tools and other equipment safely and effectively.
• Plug wires and assemble components accurately.
• Follow work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards.
• Maintain productivity and attendance expectations.
