Job summary

Roper Corporation is seeking Work-Based Learning Assembly Operators for high school students aged 17+ enrolled in an approved Work-Based Learning program. This is a part-time role up to 20 hours per week, with 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift options, located in Lafayette, GA, USA.

Responsibilities include assembling range/oven appliances and components, moving parts, following production schedules and quality standards, and using air tools in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years old.
• Must be currently enrolled in a high school Work-Based Learning program.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to successfully complete a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assemble cooking appliances and/or components according to production requirements
• Move parts and materials throughout the work area
• Use air tools and other equipment safely and effectively
• Plug wires and assemble components accurately
• Follow work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards
• Maintain productivity and attendance expectations
