Job summary

Globalclassifieds.info is seeking a part-time ASL interpreter for an international banking institution in the Financial District. The role requires on-site work with a commitment of 2 to 4 hours per month, including training sessions and other activities, and may involve both virtual and in-person events.

Applicants must have 2 years of full-time paid experience, RID or NAD certification, knowledge of SEE and PSE, and strong communication skills in ASL, TDD, and writing.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Interpret conversations between banking staff in day-to-day interactions and meetings.
• Provide effective interpreting for events and meetings (in-person and virtual).
• Attend job-related meetings and training sessions.
• Sign and abide by client data privacy and confidentiality requirements.
• Assist with other administrative duties as assigned.
