Aspire Indiana Health is hiring a part-time American Sign Language (ASL) Staff Interpreter to join the Deaf Services Team. The role involves providing interpreting services to Deaf, Deaf-blind and hard of hearing clients, families, and staff in clinical or administrative settings, with some evening hours possible.

• Must have a high school diploma; bachelor's in ASL preferred.
• Experience in mental health or medical settings preferred.
• Reliable transportation and driver's license required.
• High-speed internet at home for telehealth tasks.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate schedules of interpreting staff and arrange freelance interpreters.
• Provide instruction in the use of adaptive equipment.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with Aspire staff and external contacts.
• Schedule with agencies for freelance interpreters.
• Respond to direction from management calmly and effectively.
• Collaborate and communicate with all parties toward client's identified goals.
