The part-time faculty member is responsible for providing professional, quality work as a teaching faculty member in the clinical setting and didactic lectures on an as needed basis. Work includes facilitating student learning by conducting and teaching nursing education courses and clinical supervision at the Practical Nursing level, using active learning methods and a variety of instructional strategies designed to assist the learner in meeting the objectives of each course; assessing student learning; and providing academic assistance to students as needed.
Applicant must have graduated from an approved school of professional nursing. Current registration as a professional nurse in the Commonwealth of PA. A baccalaureate degree, preferably in nursing or matriculation in a nursing baccalaureate degree program with evidence of continuing academic preparation.
At least 2 years experience in the practice of professional nursing.
