Job summary

Heidelberg University is accepting resumes for an adjunct pool in the School of Music and Theatre. The Adjunct Instructor will provide instruction across art, music (including private lessons), theatre, dance, and set design, teaching in Fall, Spring, and Summer terms and in various formats including in-person, hybrid, and online.

Applicants should have a Master’s Degree or professional experience in a related field, with teaching experience. Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or professional experience in a related field.
• Teaching/Instructional experience.
• Ph.D. or ABD in a related field (preferred).
• Documented background in the related instructional area.
• Two years of college-level teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in art, music (including private lessons), theatre, dance, and/or set-design as needed in Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters; courses could be in-person or online.
• Utilize innovative and collaborative teaching methods in support of the School's mission and learning objectives.
• Perform other essential duties as outlined in the Faculty Manual.
