Job summary

Heidelberg University is seeking an adjunct instructor for the School of Allied Health in Tiffin, Ohio. The adjunct will provide undergraduate instruction in exercise science and/or health science, and may teach in-person, hybrid, or online formats as needed.

The position is part-time and on an as-needed basis, with courses offered in Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters. Candidates should have a Master’s degree (or equivalent professional experience) and teaching experience; PhD/ABD is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or appropriate professional experience in a related field.
• Teaching/Instructional experience.
• Ph.D. or ABD in a related field.
• Documented background in the related instructional area.
• Two years of college-level teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in exercise science and/or health science as needed in Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters, with in-person or online instruction.
• Utilize innovative and collaborative teaching methods in support of the School’s mission and learning objectives.
• Perform other essential duties as assigned/as outlined in the Faculty Manual.
