Job summary

Heidelberg University is accepting resumes for an adjunct pool in the performing arts, specifically in the fields of Music and Theatre. Adjunct instructors will teach part-time on an as-needed basis and should be willing to teach in a variety of formats, including in-person, hybrid, and online, and at varied class times that may include evenings according to program needs.

Applications will be accepted into the pool on an ongoing basis.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree or appropriate professional experience in a related field.
• Teaching/Instructional experience.
• Ph.D. or ABD in a related field.
• Documented background in the related instructional area.
• Two years of college-level teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses in art, music (including private lessons), theatre, dance, and/or set-design as needed in Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters based on candidate expertise and qualifications.
• Courses could be assigned as in-person or online instruction; utilize innovative teaching methods in support of the School’s mission.
• Perform other essential duties as outlined in the Faculty Manual.
