Job summary

Nevada State University is seeking qualified individuals for an open pool of adjunct instructors to teach undergraduate Art courses in person in the Las Vegas/Henderson area. This is a part-time, on-site role filled as-needed by course availability.

Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in studio art or a closely related field and demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching. Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship is required.

Responsibilities

Teach undergraduate art courses in accordance with established course objectives and departmental standards.
Prepare and deliver engaging instruction that promotes student learning and academic success.
Develop and maintain course materials, assignments, assessments, and grading criteria as appropriate.
Utilize instructional technologies and learning management systems to support teaching and communication.
Collaborate with department faculty and staff as needed to support program and student success.
