Job summary

Disneyland Resort is seeking an Arrival Coordinator to deliver world-class service to guests arriving and departing at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Spa. You will guide guests from the front drive with Valet to the lobby and onto Front Desk Cast Members in a fast-paced environment.

You will report to the Guest Services Bell & Valet Manager. This part-time role offers opportunities to engage with multiple resort teams and uphold Disney's high service standards.

Qualifications

• Part-Time Cast Members must be available to work any shift, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Valid CA Driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Flexible/adaptable to a variety of shifts including AM/PM weekends and holidays.
• Strong guest service skills in fast-paced environments with guest recovery ability.
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal and listening skills.
• Self-directed to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ability to influence peers and partners to maintain a seamless arrival/departure experience.

Job description

As an Arrival Coordinator, you will be responsible for catering to a high volume of guest interactions while delivering world-class service and ensuring a seamless experience for guests arriving and departing at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel and Spa. Every interaction is an opportunity to create a positive first impression, provide personalized service, and help Guests begin their memorable Disney experience. You will facilitate the guest transition from the front drive with the Valet team and into the lobby to the Front Desk Cast Members.

You will report to the Guest Services Bell & Valet Manager.

This is a Part-Time role.

What You Will Do

• Share detailed information with guests and Cast Members by answering questions related to the hotel and Resort, providing directions, sharing event information, and assisting with other services to help create a magical experience
• Proactively engage guests while providing personalized service, showing genuine interest, and anticipating the guest’s needs with the goal to leave a lasting impact
• Coordinate the arrival and departure experience by communicating with partners in Valet, Bell, Front Desk, Concierge, VIP coordinators, Special Activities Team, and Guest Relations Cast
• Maintaining performance expectations in areas such as Guest service, safety, efficiency, and quality
• Representing the Disney brand with professionalism, enthusiasm, and integrity in every interaction

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Part-Time Cast Members must be available to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as well as ability to work more than three days per week
• Valid CA Driver’s license and clean driving record
• Flexible/adaptable (may work a variety of shifts including AM, PM weekends and Holidays)
• Demonstrated strong guest service skills. Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment and use guest recovery methods. Can anticipate the needs of Guests
• Strong verbal, interpersonal, and listening skills
• Self-directed to complete tasks with minimal supervision
• Ability to influence peers and partners to maintain a seamless arrival and departure experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced and/or luxury hotel front-of-house role

The hiring range for this position in California is $27.50 an hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
