Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Armed Perimeter Patrol Driver in Windsor, NC to serve government and other clients. You will perform armed patrols, maintain a visible presence, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and document activity as part of a dedicated security team.

Qualified candidates have at least six months of armed security or related experience, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent; an armed guard card is preferred.

Qualifications

• Six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Armed guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff and visitors at a government corrections location while following post orders.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor restricted areas and verify authorization as required.
• Prepare accurate activity and incident reports and communicate observations.
