Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Armed Perimeter Patrol Driver in Windsor, NC to serve government and other clients. You will perform armed patrols, maintain a visible presence, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and document activity as part of a dedicated security team.

Qualified candidates have at least six months of armed security or related experience, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent; an armed guard card is preferred.

This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized individuals at a government corrections location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify authorization as required, and maintain awareness of inmate movement and facility activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and patrol reports, and communicate observations and concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
