Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Patrol Site Assessment in Queens, NY, to safeguard clients across government and transit facilities. This part-time role offers flexible scheduling and a pathway to new assignments through our Claim a Shift platform.

Responsibilities include armed patrols, exceptional customer service, incident response, and clear reporting. Requires valid license, HS diploma, and background/drug screening as applicable.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Law Enforcement Officer License.
• An Armed Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories as permitted by law.
• Subject to drug screening where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities at transit facilities.
• Perform armed patrol duties throughout transit stations, platforms, entrances, concourses, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Respond to incidents and disturbances in a calm, professional manner, notifying transit personnel and responders as needed.
• Monitor areas for unauthorized access, suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations with a visible armed presence.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain records related to patrols and incidents.
