Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Per Diem Armed Security Officer in New York, NY for a part-time, hourly role. You will patrol, deter incidents, and support a secure environment for tenants, staff, and visitors.

Requirements include concealed carry permits and armed credentials; you will provide customer service, respond to incidents, and maintain firearms qualifications in compliance with laws and site procedures.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Concealed Carry Weapons Permit required.
• Armed Guard Card or License required.
• Law Enforcement Officer License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and provide information or assistance to support orderly building operations.
• Maintain required firearms qualifications and follow all applicable laws, Allied Universal policies, and site-specific procedures for armed posts.
